| CFAA Tax Policy Conference 2007
|
| |
CFAA held its first Tax Policy Conference on Friday, June 8, 2007, in Edmonton.
The conference reviewed
the current income tax position of rental housing. It then examined
what information and arguments are needed to obtain tax reform, as well
as what lessons rental housing providers and housing advocates can take
from past industry lobbying efforts. The Conference concluded with
discussion groups on different possible tax reforms, and a plenary
session to identify CFAA's choice for our next tax lobbying goal.
